Our University Library Branch Manager, Mr. Mustafa Aksay, and our Librarian, Ms. Selda Malkoç Kılıç, attended the “ANKOSLink 2025 International Conference – Library 5.0 and Human-Centered Digital Transformation,” held between 4–6 November 2025. This prestigious national-level event, focusing on the latest developments in librarianship and academic publishing, digital transformation strategies, and information services, was conducted with an intensive three-day program.

At the closing session of the conference, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech emphasizing Türkiye’s 1300-year-old tradition of knowledge and library culture, stating that libraries should not merely be spaces for storing documents, but must evolve into human-centered, accessible, and productive knowledge environments.

Based on the insights gained throughout the event, plans are being developed to enhance user-centered services within our university library.
